Flipping through the channels tonight, stumbled onto Philadelphia. Granted, I didn't see this when it was hot, but it seems pretty heavy-handed now. Were we ever stupid enough to need this kind of ham-fisted bludgeoning? If so, I'm depressed.

Glad to have friends that don't need this bludgeoning, but yeah, I know way too many people that even this ham fisted-ness isn't enough. Some extremely well educated people, too.

Not disagreeing, just... fuck. I guess it speaks to the quality of people I hang out with that I'm surprised.
