I hate Kay Hagan. But I really fucking hate Dole. So I'm calling it a win. Hopefully in 2 years I'll get to vote Hagan out in favor of someone I only kinda hate.
I was indecisive when it came to this race (I loath both). I voted early, so I missed out on the whole atheist thing. If I hadn't that would have sealed the deal. That was too far below the belt. As it turned out neither got my vote (yea for no name third party candidates that have no chance in hell of winning).
Taco, bad news. A senator's term is six years. Elections on the seats in the Senate are staggered so every two years, one third of the seats have been voted on. They do this so that no state ever has both seats up for election in the same year.
Ah, yeah. Wishful thinking on my part. Still, a paler shadow.
